Mbappé suffered an injury in a match for the French national team
Kylian Mbappé got injured in the French national team's match against Turkey.

A new matchday in the Nations League – and a new injury. This time, however, it concerns a world‑class star – Frenchman Kylian Mbappé. The Real Madrid striker suffered an injury in his national team’s game – France beat Turkey away with a narrow margin – 1:0, and it was Mbappé who scored the winning goal against the Turks. But shortly after, he felt pain after a strike on the opponent’s goal and had to request a substitution at the start of the second half.
Immediately after the match, France’s new head coach Zinedine Zidane announced that Mbappé will promptly leave the national team’s camp and will not play in the current “international window”. The French Football Federation shortly confirmed the knee injury, without specifying the severity of Mbappé’s injury.
Mbappé will likely undergo an MRI, and only based on that examination will it become clear how many games Mbappé will miss due to the injury sustained in the Nations League match.
Champions League Fantasy managers should monitor the news about Mbappé’s injury especially closely, because the Frenchman, according to official statistics, is selected by 56% of players in Champions League Fantasy. And possibly, all of them will have to replace their expensive striker.
Recall that in the first round of the Champions League, Mbappé earned only 6 points for his Fantasy owners (provided he was not selected as captain). Real Madrid’s next Champions League match will take place on October 14. It will be an away match against Italian Roma.
